SCALER – Salvation ft ELDON
SCALER’s “Salvation” featuring ELDON excavates the Bristol band’s heavier, more familiar live energy after their recent EU tour with And So I Watch You From Afar. Following singles “Salt” and “Evolve”, this track digs into the darker corners of their new album “Endlessly”, released today via Black Acre Records and our September spotlight album.
Built around immense low-end pressure and tempered by spatial stretches, “Salvation” pulls from trip-hop, drum’n’bass, techno, metal, and drill. ELDON from Cold Light adds new colour to SCALER’s darkened palette, pointing to the left turns they’re leaning into. Voices layer and loop over instrumentals that do the same.
“Endlessly” was recorded mainly at Bristol’s legendary The Louisiana with engineer Alfie Tyson-Brown, who shares what the band calls a “telepathic relationship” with them. Unlike their debut “Void”, made in isolation during lockdowns, this album embraces collaboration and brings people together. Contributors include Art School Girlfriend, Shadow Stevie, and techno wizard Thomas Ridley.
They’re hitting the road for UK/EU headline dates through November and December, including stops in London, Berlin, and Paris.
